1kg hard cooking potatoes

1 tin Grebbestads (Abba) brand anchovies

2 big yellow onions

300 ml 15% fat cream




Slice the onions and fry until golden brown

Cut the potatoes into small fry shapes (maybe 5mm thick)

In a casserole dish, layer 1/3 of the cut potatoes. Sprinkle salt and pepper.

Put on half of the onions and 1/2 of the tin of anchovies without juice.

Repeat these steps again, then finish with a layer of potatoes.

Finally, add the juice of the anchovies and cream over everything.

Cover and cook in the oven at 180 degrees C for 1.5 hours.

In the last 10 minutes remove the cover and turn the oven to 200 degrees C to get a crispy top.
